Our vision is mission

As a part of YWAM and as a base, us as YWAM Kristiansand have a beating heart for missions. We want to facilitate for people to be sent out from our base into the mission field. In the preparation time for those going out, we follow and guide in the process of fixing things before going out. Our heart is to look after our missionaries well, both with paperwork and spiritually.

We want our missionaries to feel prepared in their hearts to go out — and that they feel connected, taken care of and know that they are being prayed for. We therefore have a high value for praying for our missionaries, and do that as a practice every week. And as missionaries return, we do debriefing and follow ups in the transition between cultures and countries.

We love to see people respond to the call on their lives, and say yes to go to the ends of the earth to preach the GOOD NEWS. As of now, we have missionaries working in countries such as Brazil, Thailand, China, Turkey, South Africa and different Asian countries. It is our great privilege to follow them on their journey and to stand with them in the work they do for the Kingdom of God.
