What does it look like?
The BELT Bootcamp contains a 4 week training phase and a 4 week internship where we dive into the Bible, go through the whole story of the Bible, looking at how God disciples and transforms people and communities.
We talk about foundational questions like "Does truth exist?", "Can we trust the Bible?", and "What is the purpose of people?" You’ll become familiar with the whole story of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation and church history, seeing how God is active in each part of life. You’ll grow in skills to study, communicate, and teach the Bible in different contexts!
Overview of the training phase weeks:
Week 1:
Truth, Reliability of Scripture, Value & Design of People, God’s Laws of Love, Sin
Week 2:
Family of Abraham, Civil of Government of Israel, Religion in Israel, Educating a New Generation, Economics in Israel
Week 3:
Declining Character & Growing Centralization, Restoration of Judah, Jesus, Kingdom of God, Early Church
Week 4:
BELT, Transformational Teachers, Transformational Methods, Cross Cultural Communication
Information
If you have done a DTS, this course is registered with the University of the Nations and gives 4 credits upon completion. However, DTS is not mandatory for joining the BELT Bootcamp as a student!
COST
— Lecture Weeks: EUR 1050,- (approx NOK 12 000)
— Internship Weeks: NOK 10.000 - 20.000,-

Staff Opportunity
BELT (Biblical Education and Leadership Training) ministry is passionate to go out and teach the Word of God and to train others to do so as well. Are you also passionate about this? We have an opportunity for you!
Join our staff team! Each year our staff run 2 BELT bootcamps somewhere in Europe. We also look at what opportunities there are worldwide to run BELT seminars or training and join in. When we are not running a Bootcamp or seminars, we are studying the Bible together as a team and preparing teaching for what’s upcoming or holding training/small groups in the local community.
At the end of one year, you are qualified to run 1 or 2 of the BELT teaching seminars and you are well on your way to be able to run/staff a BELT bootcamp or plant one somewhere else.
Requirements:
A Bible course or BELT bootcamp (If you haven't done a BELT bootcamp, you can participate in the first one in the year and join on as staff afterwards),
have done a DTS (Discipleship Training School).
