A Journey Through the
Old and New Testaments
Bible School for the Nations is a six month secondary school in YWAM's University of the Nations (UofN).
The 6-month BSN is an epic journey through the Bible from Creation to Revelation. We study the Bible chronologically within its historical and literary context. We also have an emphasis on personally engaging with and applying the Scriptures. We don’t shy away from the hard questions and work together to see the big picture of the Bible.
Throughout the BSN we will learn about specific themes like the Kingdom of God, Biblical Government, and God’s interactions with people and nation throughout history. We will dig deep into the central message of the Gospel knowing that understanding this will allow us to partner with God to bring transformation to ourselves, communities and nations.

Live / Learn / Teach
What does it look like?
In the BSN, you will be equipped to teach and communicate God’s Word. There will be assignments in storytelling, teaching and leading small group discussion. This will help you to grow in your communication and critical thinking skills. You will feel prepared to share God's truth whether it's at a Norwegian youth group or with a group of local pastors in the Himalayas.
Throughout the lecture phase we will invest in the local community in weekly outreach.
Following the lecture phase, we have an eight-week global outreach.This outreach is an essential part of the BSN since you will be able to apply your knowledge from the lecture phase in a cross-cultural setting. As a team we will experience conducting and teaching Bible seminars.
We will work alongside YWAM’s BELT (Biblical Education and Leadership Training) ministry. BELT runs courses for community and church leaders with limited access to Biblical training, often partnering with Wycliffe Bible Translators. To read more about BELT, click here.
The Bible School for the Nations further equips YWAMers to disciple communities and nations from a Biblical perspective. Our goal is to see ministries pioneered in all regions of the world in need of Biblical training.
